Application Process & Timeline

Nonprofits apply through the GiveOrcas programme, which runs two annual campaigns (Spring and Holiday). For the Spring campaign, applications are typically accepted in February.

The application is open to 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) organisations, government agencies, schools, and public service organisations serving Orcas Island communities. Proposals are vetted by a community committee. Once the GiveOrcas catalogue goes live, donors contribute between $10 and $10,000 to support programmes that align with their interests, with the goal of fully funding every proposal.

Application materials and campaign policies are available on the OICF website.
