Application Process & Timeline
Applications are submitted through an online grant portal at bhacf.org. First-time applicants must create an account.
Capacity Building Grants: Applications open 1 February, deadline 15 March. Awards of up to $5,000 made annually in spring.
Community Action Grants: Deadline 3 May. Awards of $20,000 (six available in 2026 for 20th anniversary). Only available to organisations with agency endowment funds at BHACF.
Other specialised grant programmes include the Margaret Warren & Grace Lemley Animal Welfare Grant, and various youth philanthropy and community-specific initiatives.
