GlobalGiving UK
At a glance
Key takeaways
- GlobalGiving is best suited to registered nonprofits anywhere in the world that can show a track record of project implementation and pass its due diligence on transparent, accountable work and local registration.
- Unregistered groups are not its usual partners, though some work through a fiscal sponsor, so a group without registration should explore that route first.
- No grant range is stated, and its support works through a platform for fundraising, campaigns and training rather than a set grant, so a request should be framed around what the partnership can offer.
- Start with the interest survey: a small cohort is invited to Pathway on a bi-monthly basis and those considered a good fit hear by email, so applications are rolling but selective.
- Organisations without a track record of project implementation should not apply yet.

Priority Areas
GlobalGiving supports nonprofits and community-led organisations around the world by connecting them with donors, companies and other nonprofits. Its partners can use the platform to fundraise through personalised project pages, join curated campaigns for extra funding, build skills through workshops and learning resources, and develop networks. GlobalGiving vets organisations for transparent and accountable charitable work and local registration requirements. Prospective partners enter a learning pathway and due diligence; they should have a track record of project implementation. The charity also provides nonprofits with financial and human resources, training and data to improve their work and serve their communities.
