Application Process & Timeline

The foundation operates a two-stage process:

  1. Letter of Intent: Submit anytime (no deadline) to Grants@DEWF.org
  2. Full Application: If invited, quarterly deadlines are 18 March, 17 June, 16 September, and 16 December (noon Arizona time). Applications must be submitted within 30 days of invitation or by the deadline, whichever comes first.

Board meetings are held quarterly in January, April, July, and October to review applications.

Organisations must be 501(c)(3) public charities classified as 509(a)(1) or 509(a)(2) with offices in AZ, CA, or NV.
