Application Process & Timeline

The foundation uses an online application system. First-time applicants must create a user ID and password before submitting a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). After reviewing the LOI, if it fits within the trustees' guidelines, applicants receive an email to proceed to the full application.

The trustees meet three times each year to consider grant requests. Organisations may only apply once during a 12-month period. The foundation's fiscal year runs from 1 July to 30 June.

For multi-year grants, interim reports are required at least annually before subsequent years' funding can be made. Grantees must agree to refund any unused portion of a grant not used for the stated purpose.
