Application Method

Three-step process:

  • Project must focus on Spanish/Portuguese-speaking Latin America
  • Project must align with Democratic Governance or Education priorities

Timing: Board meetings in June and December; grants distributed within two weeks of meetings. Foundation typically funds one-third to one-half of proposals received.

Grant Terms: Maximum 36 months support
