Funding Priorities

• Coronary heart disease research: Prevention of coronary heart disease or circulatory failure, and improving patient care. Focuses on basic and translational scientific research (clinical studies ineligible). Awards of up to $250,000 over 24 months (inclusive of 10% indirect costs).

• Corporate governance and business ethics education: Scholarships at select colleges and universities for students studying responsible corporate management, corporate governance, business ethics, and corporate compliance.

In accordance with Harold S. Geneen's directives, the research programme supports smaller, mid-sized institutions "rather than major universities or medical complexes which have a demonstrated capacity to raise funds from the public generally."

Application Process & Timeline
