Key takeaways

  • Its stated focus is sustainable farming, teacher training, nursing and midwife training, and pastoral services, and its stated priority is South Sudan, so a request fits best if it sits within one of these themes and concerns that area.
  • Its annual giving is £257,111, but no grant range is stated, so the annual report gives no typical amount to aim for, and a small nonprofit should ask what size of request is appropriate before drafting.
  • No application process is published in the annual report, its register entry or its website, so the sensible first step is to get in touch using the contact shown and ask how to proceed.
  • The annual report and its website say nothing about deadlines, how many applicants it receives, or how decisions are reached, so do not assume a timetable or a particular way of working until you have asked.
